I was stuck with Cue, as I’m reworking the backend to use Firebase, rather than Blockstack. It’s an important step towards getting sync, caching, and a better sign up and sign in experience working.

Anyway, I was stuck, unsure of how to move forward. This happens when doing software work. It happens when doing any information work.

You’re moving along, and then stall out.

And there are lots of different reasons you can be stuck. Fear of failure, fear of success,

But for me, this time around, I knew it was because I needed to learn something. Not necessarily something specific, but I needed a better understanding of Firebase, and how to use it in my code.

So I spent some time learning. I read the documentation, and worked my way through some Firebase guides.

And became unstuck.

Sometimes, it’s that simple.
